Born in Lancashire 1962, Ian Wilkinson
studied at Burnley College before completing a
degree in fine art at North Staffordshire Polytechnic
in 1983. He now lives in Suffolk and is a co-founder
of the Limberhurst Press in Cambridgeshire.

from many different areas and aspects of his life.
Working in various media including oil on canvas,
silkscreen and etching, he often combines processes
and techniques resulting in highly individual
and tactile prints and paintings. Continuous experimentation
with new materials constitutes a strong part of
his work, giving it its own unique and constantly
evolving identity.
Wilkinson exhibits regularly in
galleries up and down the country as well as working
on large scale commissions. He has work in private
collections in England, Germany, U.S.A., Belgium,
France, Eire, Japan, Greece and New Zealand.
